This policy explains how Brilliant Coaching (“we”, “us”) uses the personal information you give us through this website, by phone or by email. Brilliant Coaching is run by Clive Sinclair, who is responsible for your information.
What we collect
- The details you send through our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, your message and the best time to contact you.
- Anything you tell us by phone, email or in a consultation or coaching session, so that we can help you.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a free consultation.
- To provide coaching or mentoring you have asked for, and to keep in touch about your sessions.
- To keep basic records we need to run the business, such as invoices.
Our legal basis is your consent (when you send the form) and, once you become a client, the steps needed to provide the service you’ve asked for. We never sell your information or use it for anyone else’s marketing.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed in sessions is kept strictly confidential. The only exception would be if we believed you or someone else was at serious risk of harm, or if the law required us to share information.
Who else sees it
Our contact form is handled by Formspree, which passes your message to us by email. Sessions take place on Zoom. These services only process your information to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to coaching are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards for accounting purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email clive@brilliantcoaching.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
